Better business decisions than Caldera!

UNIXisms is a page dedicated to UNIX and it's successors, Linux and BSD. UNIX was an absolute workhorse in the early to mid '90s, driving businesses and servers all across the world. And then the chucklef*cks at IBM, the SCO group (Caldera), and HP completely ruined it for everyone, and it's sorta out of favor nowadays in favor of Linux. However, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore, AIX and SCO UnixWare are still for sale and HP still offers support for their particular flavor. Oracle still offers Solaris downloads and BSD is still definitely kickin'. Now, with that history lesson out of the way, let's look at the glory days of UNIX, when it was on top of the world, when things were much, much simpler.
